The event date is Thursday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at all the Valley Macy's.

ALL proceeds from tickets sold by Friends of the City of Mesa Library volunteers will be donated to Mesa’s Libraries.   In addition, Macy’s associates are selling tickets and Friends of the City of Mesa Library will share these proceeds with other Charities participating in Community Shopping Day.

Past Fundraising Events

The Friends of the City of Mesa Library raised more than $2,600 to support library programs through a raffle and auction conducted in cooperation with the Chicago Cubs during the recently completed spring training season.

The Friends raffle of a Sammy Sosa autographed jersey, held at Sluggo’s Sports Grill, 161 N. Centennial Way, on April 1 raised $1,300. A auction fundraiser held with the Mesa HoHoKams and Cubs Wives Charities raised an additional $1,333.

The Friends got additional assistance from Field Works Events and Marketing and KDKB-FM radio. Proceeds from the efforts will go to the Friends of the City of Mesa Library, a non-profit organization that supports the library and its programs.
